He does go off. Loves to complain, attack back anybody whose commentary argy bargies with his own.

Different vs Difference
I write differently over on my site.
More into phases of form, evolving and devolving and evolving again, and not so busy simplifying the syntax as I try to do here.
Here, look to find ways, that organize into a structure that approaches complex if need be, in a more friendly format —
On my site, narrative arrives as an occurrence — in itself. My mind being countenanced to engage with form as substance — working “over time."
Being on substack has given me a whole another set of circumstances, on purpose set out to explore, and edit!
And I seem to want to maintain that duality. Its kind of a different head space over there… Just as instagram was, according to its own nature of engagement, for a time.
Novel on Top
Novel has found its form so I am doing my best to work on it, all the time, first and foremost. Novel is meant to be — accessible? Even engage with aspects of the familiar. Language and usage explore different types of familiarity — with purposeful attention to language having a continuity that carries meaning along. As catchy, kitchy, gobsmacked, wonder-bearing, transformative - etc.
Novel combines what I was looking for here, in terms of slowing things down to an inchworm, a wall crawl, rather than a jump — And bringing in rhymes , not as verse, but as existing within the language itself since early on.
And the char, who is basis for the novel, I began with, in a way that I saw Clarice set up her chars, in her last novels, again for its accessibility and freedom to evolve through it, at same time. Tho appreciably americanized.
Its unlike anything else that I have ever managed.
Gotta finish novel first. Novel is exploring things Cioran talks about, getting beyond “talent” to knowing your equipment and being able to expose on and expand. To thine own self “true.”
That Said
Recently rereading several of my narrative pieces over on my site (thank u) that I haven’t looked at in quite awhile or been working on at all —
Besides books of poetry, there’s also at my site, two or no, maybe three, other narrative things going on.
One is just notes. Similar to what I have done here a few times.
But there’s also short stories. That explore a very “modern” take on writing. Reminds me of things I am seeing at NYPL under New Poetry — that explore form in ways I seem also to be excessively curious about.
The short stories are much more what I call Chop Chop, post reading Acker.
But also, that said —
There’s several attacks for an imagined book on writing, that were written while in the course of discovery. And read, in some ways, like a mix of methods coming to light, as literary cricism/commentary.
Friendly Fire
Those writing about writing, are not cutters per se, though they are engaging with cutters at the time.
Which I see now as engagement, perseverance, and even encouragement, not without its fire.
Help makes it a part of something with a broader reach… leach, niche… Absorption was protocol. First middle and last.
And I told SM, that I saw it that way. As his having encouraged me the whole time through — and he agreed.
So there.
