Getting into colors again.
Painting… terrible stuff. Watercolors, spending time with water just doing what it does and scratching out some bitter sweet.
Then stopped and started doing paint tests again with gouache. I would like to be able to gouache paint a two color painting that is side of a building — in stark contrast.
Well three if you include a ledge of cooler brighter yellow….Oh and a deeper shade of the blue.

Do I do puzzles — no.
Wordy Gurdy is a Word Puzzle, out of Tender Bar the film, when the writer kid after going after remembering big words, starts rhyming across words as phrasing. Nixon’s Fixens. Super Cooper. Sitting in bar doing his homework. So he gets to go bowling…
Rhyme isnt a memory its a result — even if it pops up time and again.
I dont do word puzzles except for searching words in translation that are closer to Cioran than the free translators give me. Because of assumptions, or slight exaggerations in the meaning.
Slight but meaningful — and I decide to slim it down — if it is not backed up, by actual usage.
Hitting the Basement
I was down in basement at Strand Book Store not exactly in philosophy as around it. Nearby. Special memory for me.
Hounding the dead…
And I ran into a book — on way that animals do it. Called Natural History of Love by Remy de Gourmand.
So I pulled it from stack, opened and read to see where it was at — and it was good. Read more, really good.
Hugged and went home to chug on. And learned wtf, its translated by Ezra Pound.

Polished version much better.
I went over one of my chapters that was from previous version. And then reread the polished.
Polished is polished. So I am sticking with it. A lot of the ideas, I thought I left off, arent left off. But have been put into perspective of the novel.
Its like it comes up first, in a narrative that is noncompliant to what I am doing in the story per se — but is something that occurs to me I want to include.
And then slowly, bring it into narrative context which is explicit, so that it is implicit in it.
So that it comes out of and is implicit to the narrative.
HUH!
