Les Plaisirs et Les Jours
Proust Flaubert and J'adorerai une Semaine depuis Isle St. Louis.
Proust published in 1896 his first book, Les Plaisirs et les Jours, a collection of mostly short stories. It was not very successful. As compared to later Swanns Way,
But I have read it. ITS WONDERFUL. He’s feasting on Flaubert, and taking it elsewhere….Steals two of Flauberts chars, cutely disassembles, sweetly, two talking chars, and beats the rug to both middleton and oblivion, yes some but mostly its satire not darkness he doesnt go there yet, but about french society, as Proust is thinking about what it is, mocking even a little, but its funny, and reflective, as indeed — realizing coincidentally tumbling into Satire…. I loved it.
I tumble into satire through rhyme. Rhyme for me is a potato masher, egg beater, and clown tumbler. Astounded me to work that out.
Proust begun in autumn 1895 a novel which he later abandoned in autumn 1899 and never finished.
I am looking into what people published AFTER their moms die.
Swanns Way was published in November 14, 1913.
Prousts Mom died: September 1905
Acker fist published book: Childlike Life of the Black Tarantula 1973. Which have not read… MUST I, check NYPL.
Have been called over the wire tire as a Spider D Generate in the Plush Bottom Lottery, a degenerate with sweetners?
So I rhyme Moody with your Foody, reminds me to read again Charlotte’s Web…
On Christmas Eve 1978, Acker's mother checked into the Midtown Hilton and took her own life.
And in 78 Acker publishes second book. Kathy Goes to Haiti. Sexually explicit. Is Tarantula explicit that way?
Sylvia published after Dad died when she was nine no when 8. He shows up a lot and not as Char but as Mae West?
Why would I think that….
Admitted that its a pappy happy, thats a joke to all concerned.
Alot of my rhyme crime are stolen from Nursery Rhyme ideas and antics, for sound rhymes swirl and pop. Hauls of the Paddy Cakes.
I think the topic of what people publish after their Mums die is a fascinating one.
